Band brake a little Different

I have been working on a 1968 Larson Snowmobile and found it has a band brake this is the first one I have seen on a sled.

It has a V pulley on the jack-shaft instead of a drum and the band has a piece if 5/8 V belt for a pad.

If you can find a piece of spring steel for a band it should be easy to make one for a Mini bike.

That is how most of the Tote Gotes have worked for years they have a double jack shaft
and they work real good. should work on a mini bike too
