billet guide plate

Finally picked up some chromoly pushrods and guide plate. iv been running the stamped 1.3 rockers and black mamba sr on stock pushrods for awhile. wen I installed the guide plate it raised up the rockers should I get longer pushrods or did I install it wrong lol or should I get the rs guide plate its not as thick

No you are fine... You might have to put a washer under the rocker stud to get some adjustment to set valve lash though...

Maybe use a lash cap? I maybe picturing it wrong but won`t a washer make it worse?

I use billet rockers and guide plate the stud is not quite long enough... So putting a washer under the stud gives you a bit more adjustment for setting lash...

he said he used a billet guide plate and stamped rockers, not billet rockers...so with the thicker plate it raised the stud and rockers... I used the RS plate with the sliding brass guides and it worked out good..
