Bore and stroke questions

#1
Im looking at the bore and stroke of my 6.5 clone. The manual says its 68X54mm. My question is... is it possible to mod the engine so the numbers match? lets say make them both 70. (just for eas of the question ill use 70X70)
If you can do that, is there any benefit for having stroke equal the bore? Does that make super HP or is it not even close to possible and pointless?

Having them both at the same is only gonna slow down your RPM, but in the end make more power from having more C.I.'s.

You mostly see flathead motors with more stroke because they lack the TQ of the OHV. And the OHV lack the RPM, but have plenty of TQ, so it's just the opposite.
