brake and throttle cable
I want to run the brake and throttle cable through the frame of my Allied mini pit as my wife calls it. Too clean it up, how big are the ends on standard brake and throttle cables

Run the smsll end through the tubes. Same diameter as the cable itself! I also use grommets on mine to keep the cables from chafing. No one likes a chafed cable!

Yuup! You will be fine. I have made oblong/oval shaped holes so the cables will enter a little flatter to the tubing...that way they don't have to make such an abrupt direction change

Here's a tip for getting the cable through the frame.Take some kite string and tie some not's on the end of it,keep it just big enough to still go through the hole drilled.take a vacum cleaner to draw the string from one hole to the other and you will be left with something to pull the cable through with.
