Briggs 5 hp carb problem

I want to put a briggs 5 hp on a mini bike but I want to do away with the tank and use the one on the frame What carb can I use. Will one from a verticle shaft work or does any one know of one I can use.Thanks

get a good gas tillotson carb.

I've had great luck with Mikuni carbs.

any tecumseh or float carb will work as long as the carb is close to level

The flowjet carb from a briggs 3hp will work on the 4hp and 5hp as well. They will also give you more power and mileage than the tank mounted pulsajet. These are sometimes hard to find. I don't think a 6hp or larger carb ( large flojet ) will work.
