Briggs & Stratton 1305020217-0 ????

Can anyone tell me the year or anything else about this number found on this Briggs &Stratton engine. The engine is currently on a 1969 Lil Indian.

That is a 13 cubic inch - 5hp motor. You state 130502, but the 5 means that it is a vertical shaft mower engine? Your motor is a rubber seal type on the end on the crank (not bearing)

If you go by that chart it means someone swapped out the shroud on your horizontal shaft engine with a vertical shaft engine and those numbers are now worthless.

It should be 1302020517-0.

130202 would be correct for an aluminum bore, 5HP horizontal shaft engine
