Can this be a Bird Wren or Sears Runabout?

I think this is a Bird, and Wren is what I've been told is the model.
I have looked on this site, and most of the minibikes labeled as
a Wren have a bicycle style kickstand. Mine appears original, but
is a different type of stand. The engine is not original, but a 5hp
B&S from a tiller. The front forks were bent forward slightly to
accomodate grownups. The seat is aftermarket. The wheels were on it when I bought it, and they are 5".
It was clocked
at the drags at 38mph with my son riding it, and he weighs about 120lbs.
Any positive ID would be appreciated.

This bike also looks like the Foremost Big Blue model in the
Penneys ad, but it has the bicycle style kickstand.

The model
shown in the Sears ad is similar, but with different kickstand also.

Thanks!

I'd have to say Big Blue. The brochures are not 100% accurate some times on the small details, unless they were made from a copy of an actual photo_One example of this is the Bird Lark in the brochure has the engine backwards. On the Wren and Runabout, the frame is longer on top and the rear wheel is kind of tucked under the rear. Bird made the Big Blue, and El Tigre but they were labeled Foremost for Penneys.

Thanks JimH for the reply.
I was hoping somebody would
know about it, it's my first minibike
and I'm already 50 yrs old (young now).
I appreciate the info.

As for the center stand instead of a side kick stand if you look at Donkeypop's little mini bike it also has that very cool little stand. It is nice to have a center stand to warm up your bike before riding. I think Jimh knows the best facts in the bikes that were made for so many labels.
Merry Christmas Steve :scooter:
