Well , I have searched the forum, and Im still not sure what thickness of headgasket to use on my clone. I just purchased the flattop piston with new stock rings I hope them will work with that.Im not getting any head work done , just got the new stainless valves (lapped) - alum. retainers - 26pd springs - $ 50cam 1.2 rockers - lash caps - chrome molly pushrods - of course alum. billet ARCrod and flywheel. Is the flat top piston needed, and what would you recomend for the head gasket? Im thinking the stock gasket is ok? If someone has an answer for this it would be greatly appreciated :smile: thank you Mark..................

get the stock 200 gasket, .010 thick, if you go with a 160 (.045) gasket you just wasted money on the piston as you will be reducing compression..

Where abouts in Toledo are you?? I'm in the west end
