looks good but yea it should have some more air. Where did you get the cup from to make it? Heres some iv made. 3 or 4 of them are old pulley guards from snow blowers that i modified

I made one out of an old 4 cylinder engine's timing belt cover. Cut it down and added a few brackets. The other I got at OldMiniBikes warehouse which is sturdy, easy to mount and doesn't cost much.

thanks! i love it. Everythings old and rusty on the bike. i kept getting hot oil up the back of my leg and i had the old rusty oil can i didnt know what to do with. match made in heaven :laugh:

nice. op, that's a good and simple way to mount a cover. i've been using a cookie tin, but it's too flimsy. i may have to give that a try

george3 i do have some pictures of it before it was finish. i just use part of a stainless cup/bowl and welder it to a piece of metal that i fab up to cover the chain going back to the rear sprocket:thumbsup: and it was for a acme frame. very close looking to a newer style manco bike.
