Comet "COMETTE" Minibike.....?

I have an old COMETTE minibike made by the Comet Company in NJ.
Has anybody ever heard of them? It is running and in great shape.
Thanks for your help.

I'm from SE PA (will be there in December anyhow). Maybe when I'm back, I'll give them a call - seems they're located in Pitman, NJ now -- maybe some old guy from there has some parts or info laying around...[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][SIZE=-2][/SIZE][/FONT]

What do you guys think this is worth?

I paid.........................................................................$35.00 at a yard sale.

Cleaned the carb and the tank. Changed the spark plug. Runs pretty good.

Comette mini bike

I bought one of these mini bikes around 1969. It was brand new, and cost me $149.95 dollars. It was made by the Comet Machine and Tool company. They were located at 1117 Broad ST. Cinnanminson New Jersy. I have tried to look them up, but I believe they are out of business. I purchased it at a place called Noblet Brothers in Eyrie PA. I live outside of Cleveland, Ohio. It was the regular model, not the chopper version. It came with a 3 and a half horse power techcumsa motor. It had a black and white lepord skin seat, a rear drum brake, and internal front shocks absorbers. The frame was painted blue. Please email me at ronnyg4@hotmail.com or call at 440-888-7303. Golly, you really are a.persistent person. This thread is almost 5 years old. You really want one of those.

You might put a ad in the mini bikes wanted.
May even do an introduction. And tell the story. Someone might know someone who knows someone. Good luck on you search.:thumbsup:
