Easier solution to the big block speed control

Looking at one of the new HH60 motors I picked up last weekend its got this throttle control on it:



That is a heck of a lot simplier than the massively hard to find 30199a part and its accompanying levers, springs and doodads. Just bolt it on with the head bolts. Done.

It's part 31711B. I'm sure it would be great for minibikes. I have a couple in my junk box so they can't be too hard to find.

Does this throttle control put the throttle at 90 degrees the wrong way though? Or is it easy enough to bend the cable?
You mean the throttle cable coming from the twist grip? I'm assuming that's not too much of an angle if you come in swooping from the frame. Same as turning down from above on a typical one, no?
