I did a search and couldn't find anything much. What I am after is more refined throttle control. I know these motors are made to run at a single speed so we have an uphill battle. I am running a 389 Champion. I hooked the throttle cable to the factory mount. The throttle gets harder to turn the...
Where can I find a quality twist grip throttle, preferably with a built in kill switch? I've used the cheap Chinese pot metal versions that seem to be rough and crumble after some use. Every site I've been to have about 12 versions, but very nondescript about the innards.
This part is so close to the hard to find 30199A I'm thinking its a good replacement. Its found all over the internets for two cylinder OV engines for controlling two carbs. Part #37400. Ima try one.
Looking at one of the new HH60 motors I picked up last weekend its got this throttle control on it:
That is a heck of a lot simplier than the massively hard to find 30199a part and its accompanying levers, springs and doodads. Just bolt it on with the head bolts. Done.
It's part...

I recently hahahahaed up and got into the r/c car hobby. I figure there must be some of you on here that are into these money pits.
Here's my current stable:
Traxxas Raptor (2wd Slash) with a Vileneon brushless setup running 3s LiPos, LCG chassis, different wheels/tires and a few aluminum...
I have a Duromax 16 hp electric start engine. I bought it without the throttle linkage or muffler. I'm having trouble finding a throttle linkage for it. Are there any Briggs linkages or other brand that will fit?
Going though my parts and I have one extra of these, this is the roughly 1971 and older one, still looks correct on the 72-74 but the arm is more of a half moon shape where the cable stop sits. cleaned and in working order, has a brand new torsion return spring installed too  $48...
I bought 3 of these a while back and just getting around to installing them. Why is this piece of metal bent up like this? It cant be used in this position as far as i can tell. Yet all 3 are like this. Should i just bend it down? Or is this a way of hooking it up that im not familiar with...
Can someone direct me to where I might find the throttle parts to the Bing carb for a Sachs 50? See attached diagram. Parts 30, 31, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, and 8. Thanks for any help.
Anybody ever heard of knurling the valve guides. Back in the days of building small block chevys we use to send our heads to machine shop and they would knurl the valve guides for better oil control and i know it renews worn guides abit. cheap way to renew guide without having to replace them...
I picked this up a while back but ended up buying an NOS, so won't be using it on my 1970 Rupp project. The inside is really clean, but it could use a new diaphragm/gasket. The breather housing needs a paintjob, but it is in really good condition, and the filter screen is in tact. Has an intake...
pretty soon, i will start to clean up the bonanza project... was looking for a throttle/grip setup that is better than the typical setup being sold as a replacement... frankly, they suck!
i dont really like the db30s setup, but it is much better than whats on the bike now... the bars are 1" and...
I broke it, anyone know where I can pick one up?
Found an owners manual online with part # 830567 (knob) listed but it doesn't look like Thermal Arc makes the dragster 80 or sells parts for them any longer.
Either that or I'm just too stoopid too find it.
These things only go for 50...
