Edelbrock carb on 390

I did a search for this but didn't find anything.

I have this Edelbrock Quicksilver carb that was made for a Yamaha YZF450R and was thinking about putting it on my 390. Yeah it is pretty big at 38mm, but would that make it too big for a 390? The 390 will be built, but not all out.

Or would I be better off with the 32 Mikuni sitting on my desk?

Which 32 is it? The quick silver carb will obviously need rejetting and maybe swap accelerator pump parts to get the squirt small enough but I think 38 is way too big without bigger valves in the head

I have had this Edelbrock carb for a few years and was thinking of putting it on the 390, if for nothing else that to say I did it.

Biggest problem with the Edelbrock motorcycle and quad carbs is Edelbrock stopped making them and stopped making rebuild kits, jets, everything.

Guess I can hang the Edelbrock on the wall and install the Mikuni.
