Fat Guys on little bikes...

I am a little over 200 and mine does fine.

Plenty of other larger frame people here that have ridden them without issue. The 150lb spec is product liability crap from the lawyers.

I always thought the 150lb limit was excessive for the 97cc with stock gearing. It should have been more like 75lbs. But I've seen 210lbs move pretty good with a jackshafted 97cc

i would agree a stock doodle bug shouldn't have over 150 pounds on it because of the motor but a moded one with a bigger motor would be great i don't think you gonna bend the frame

Jeez, I thought this thread was about me....then I realized it really IS about me. I have a DB with 7.0/TAV setup. Runs good, and has taken some abuse without breaking...

250lbs at 45-48mph down the road, hit a few dips in the road that loaded the frame with no problems.:scooter: I probably wouldnt try to jump it though:eek:

Well if they are made like the Mini Baja's they are strong. I'm 350 pounds and I was beating the crap out of it at Windber up and down the hills and trails :thumbsup:with the Tav and 6.5 clone. The good thing about beating things at Windber is Leon can weld it back up in no time...
