When it comes down to using an 5/8 axle bolt ... What do you advise using?? ... An 18 thread or do you compromise by using an 11 thread ?? ... When it comes down to availability the 18 thread is tough to find over 8" in a finished bolt ... Any thoughts ???
The vintage bikes use fine but either works, just use a lock not or pin it.
most mini bike parts places ( like go cart galaxy) have fine but you should be able to find a specialty shop around you. Might cost 3 times as much though.
I always try to put things back to stock(if you know what stock was). Sometimes its not what would be the best thing. Like Bonanza's use of pan head screws.:doah:
