To the best of my knowledge, this is a VT-5. I believe the only difference between that and the VT-3 was the original paint color, which appears to be red, underneath. I bought this with the intention of restoring it but I guess I did the same thing with a bunch of other bikes and have decided that a few need to go. There are a few issues - missing rear shocks, motor not mounted, no chain, to name a few. But it does have what I'm guessing is the correct Comet clutch and jack shaft. I'm listing this locally on CL for $490 but listing it here for $350. I really have no idea if this is outrageous, a good deal, or somewhere in between so feel free to let me know if I'm way off. This is in eastern Iowa and I would rather not mess with shipping. I guess I might be talked into it, if absolutely necessary. Thanks!
