Hello from Indiana.

I saw a "made in China" DB knock off on one of the facebook yard sale sites and had to buy it. Seller said it would run on spray but not gas from the tank. Tank is rusty, figured carb could do with a good cleaning. Well I played around and just cleaned it out with some WD and tried to get it to start, it wont run on gas but I got it to fire on spray. Sounds like it's knocking so I am shopping for a replacement engine.

What suggestions would fit easily with little or no modifications?

Better get a bigger engine...Harbor Freight Predator 212 Engine ....about $100.00 with a coupon , that will give you some power !:thumbsup:

Thanks, I called my local Harbor Freight and they have plenty in stock.

Will the stock clutch work?

No your clutch won't work ...Doc is right, you will need a new clutch to fit a 3/4 '' shaft and you will have to drill some new holes in your engine plate.

Thank everyone for the welcomes, I needed an addiction, these are cheaper than my Harley..
