How do you file the easy spin lobe off of a 3hp Briggs cam

Does anybody have pictures of how or what to remove when filing the easy spin lobe off of a 3hp Briggs flathead cam. Pictures would be great.

you can feel the ez spin on the bottom of the exhaust lobe. file it a little at a time and try it in the engine . once it's not opening the exhaust valve on the compression stroke and you have the valve lash gap on the exhaust valve on the compression stroke you're done. Anything that you file off that closes that exhaust valve will help. with the ez spin removed you will see a big improvement in the idle, it will be slower and smoother. You will also notice some more low end power. Since these engines were designed to run at a single speed like on a lawn mower there was no problem with the slight power loss. It's in the idle and low speed that the ez spin causes problems.
