I could use some help on figuring out where to mount this gas tank..(pic)

As you can see, the tank needs a home. The problem is the nice clampco clamps that came with it, wont work, as they are just short to make it around the 1" frame in front of seat and then around the gas tank...

Thanks for any tips, I am trying to avoid welding, as I have no welding experience...

PS: please dont tell my wife I am building this inside on the marble floors while she is out of town!

Kinda what I was thinking too... Can you maybe extend something off of the seat frame and mount kinda behind/under the seat? :shrug:

Post up some more close up pics of the bike from different angles.... Easier to see what you're working with. See if you can get a shot up under the rear of the seat...

The problem with mounting a round tank on a round bar is it will always roll around.

I mounted my round tank like this,no fuel pump needed.
