I just picked up a Dave Gratton Hound Dog????

I love garage sales A neighbor pulled this out of her garage and sold it to me for 30 bucks!!!

It's all there except the chain.

The tag on the front says HOUND DOG by Dave Gratton Co. from San Dimas, CA. I can't find any info on Dave Graton Co or the this bike the HOUND DOG.

Is this a rare bike? Is it a cheepo Kmart special from the 80's? I feel like I scored at $30...did I?

Please someone tell me more.

Pretty cool...I never seen one...I like the square tubing...looks like a good motor...go power wheels..cool clutch cover..30 bucks...money well spent

I have a copy of an ad from Feb 1969 Mini Bike Guide. It listed for $229.50. The ad doesn't have front springs or that other addition to the fork. I have no way to scan the ad and post it.

Notice the square tubing has 180 degree bends.
