Is this a Hodaka frame?

I have this frame and badge, badge is original to the primered frame shown. Just wondering if it’s a Hodaka frame? Thanks.

Looks like a Tecumseh? Wouldnt that make the Tecumseh original to the frame? Judging by the engine plate,you could put any engine on it

I believe the frames are the same. There are special mounts for the Hodaka engine that bolt up to the motor plate. OldMiniBikes warehouse has the motor mounts.

That badge goes on the front of the engine plate.

Sorry for the confusion. That badge is simply resting on a motor. The motor has nothing to do with this question. Based on the serial number, can someone tell if that badge is correct for a Hodaka engine? Thanks.

Unfortunately, the serials don't indicate model or engineer designation

The engine plate doesn't look like it has any wear on the paint that would lead me to believe it once had a Hodaka on it.

It would show wear from the Hodaka mount as well. Bolts down to the engine plate also. Looks like the frame is at least an MX frame if it is 7/8 inch tubing.

I did have the frame sandblasted, that’s why it looks so clean. Here’s a few pics of it before I sandblasted it.

Yes that was a 1510, the long rust lines on the engine plate would indicate the hodaka brackets, as well as the sprocket sizes and muffler strap on the right side. shock mount.

You can also see that the bike in the pictures has a clutch lever indicating HODAKA.....

Ahh, I couldn't tell it had been blasted on my phone's screen. Those rust marks are what I was looking for
