Just picked up a trail horse but there's no brakes?

Just picked up a trail horse but there's no brakes! From what I've seen on line is that they came with a band brake on the right side. I've seen setups on eBay but no brackets, what do I need to do or get to get some brakes?

You can,go clutch brake.
But, if the drum is on the rear, fab ya up something.
Unless there is someone who has a bracket.

Find one or get one fabed up someone should have one theres a right an left post in wanted section does your wheel have the band drum on it

No drum on either side.. Clutch brake would work but would rather have the stock brake.

I believe clutch brake works waaaay better.....I think it has something to do with braking at the smaller gear off the clutch than on the rear wheel!! I have a Trail Blazer with the rear band set up and a Broncco with the clutch brake and the Broncco will easily lock up and the Blazer works poorly! Maybe someone can elaborate as to why clutch brakes work so well? But if your shooting for original then you really only have one choice!
