LiL Indian Spitfire project

#1
Here is a LiL indian Spitfire that I picked up several months ago. It wasn't in the greatest shape though. The motor that was on it was trash, the footpegs were sagging down badly and the welds were cracked on them. Someone welded the handlebars so they wouldn't fold down anymore and didn't even clean up the welds. The back tire was trashed, the whole sidewall was ripped open I'm guessing by the chain (they were using old bearings and oversized washers for spacers and they had the spacing completely screwed up, I have no clue what they were thinking)
Here's a picture of it when I bought it.

I started working on it last weekend and this is where I'm at so far. Cut off the old foot pegs since they were completely worn out and welded on a new foot peg bar. Welded on a extra seat support bar. Cleaned up the welds on the handlebars. Made spacers for the rear wheel and installed a new rear tire. Completely stripped the frame and forks and repainted them orange. Got a new seat for it from Karl (not so mini bike). polished the wheels up a little bit. stripped and painted the sprocket black. installed new controls (throttle & cable, brake lever & cable and kill switch)
I'm in the process of cleaning and painting the motor at this time. Here's what it looks like so far:

Looks great man! For some reason I'm liking that orange color too. Like what you're doing, I'll be watching.

I still have the seat. I thought it was a little to tall for a little kid though so that's why I changed it out.
What are you talking about. A little kid isn't going to be riding it. I'm big. When I buy it throw in the big seat the. I can sell the little one back to you for your next project. At the PA discount of course. 15% mark up for extra hidden fees!!!

lol...ok, that's a deal but I will have to charge you the ohio shipping fee for the extra seat and also tack in all those hidden fees. Hey, I can probably buy another mini bike with all the fees I'll be charging you...
