mikuni high idle

i searched everywhere and tryed turning in the idle air screw and the bike idles really high to the point where it moves how do i turn the idle speed down?

Screw on the side of the slide. If not your cable is too short and keeping throttle slightly up.

the cable is good cause i took it out of the throttle control and seen it the slide droped it didnt..so it should be good theres a screw on the side of the slide what do i do loosen it and move the needle or somthing?

Look in the filter end...adj screw counterclockwise...and the slide should drop down.

my carb didnt have that..i fixed it tho it had a little cir-clip on the needle and it was set to the very bottom of the 5 slots i put in in the middle and now its idled low it still has a high idle when the choke is up tho but when i put the choke down she cams!

That screw that you turned in for what you thought was the idle actually adjusts the slide...turn it back the other way ...counterclockwise....that should drop the slide and lower the idle ....also, have you checked for vacuum leaks? Make sure its sealed up good!
