I rebuilt the carb over the winter and upon firing it up for the first time today I noticed I am either missing a piece, or put the carb back together incorrectly.
The L shaped piece that the throttle cable is connected to does nothing. Moving it all around there is no change in engine speed.
The bracket on top, which has an idle adjustment screw and a black bushing hole is what actually controls the throttle. When the bike was actually running last year, the cable was connected to where it is connected currently.
Is there something that connects the two brackets? or did I assemble the carb wrong?
