How tall is your rear tire? I used to run a 10" slick but my brake rotor was almost the same size.
figured bike only goes straight so no big deal. Ended up getting on the edge of the rotor like an ice skate and crashed the bike.
After that I bought an 11-1/2" tire and made my rotor smaller.
Works much better and much safer now too.

The slick is 10.5 inches tall, but I have not measured that. I can't imagine hitting the rotor going straight and she's not setup to turn tight at all. I figure I am wearing full leathers with the armor on Saturday. Until I know it runs straight and doesn't get squirrely it will be all of the gear.

I figured the same but the bike leaned over enough that the rotor contacted the ground.
Probably a freak occurrence but it can happen.
Also this was in a parking lot, doubt it would happen on a track

All I’m saying is if the bike starts to lean on that side, be careful. Just something to keep in mind.

I checked the clearance of the disc and if I hit it I am also hitting the foot pegs too.

Yup, unfortunately I didn't find out in time and drove all the way out there. I did check their website before I left. How did you find out?
