Need help identifying old mini bike

#1
I was in California this past weekend at the Grand National Roadster Show. While talking to a vendor I know from Signal Hill he told me he has had an old mini bike in his moms yard for 25+ years. I ended up purchasing it & now have it at my house. The neck of the frame is unique so someone should be able to tell me what it is. No suspension, flat head engine, scrub brake, and a kick stand, was painted green.

Thank you for your help.

Hope you didn't pay too much. But it's nice looking and a real tribute to the person that made it. Real craftsmanship.
Are those hardware store eye bolts stuck in the ends of the "swing-arm"?

I'd "restore" (refurbish) it and try to pass it off as a forgotten classic and see what kind of reactions you get. :D

like it! I have a 1950s Clinton two-stroke chainsaw engine that I converted to use on a minibike. Hope to someday find a Vintage homemade well built Minibike to put it on. The Minibike that you have has a lot of potential.
Think old school engine when you build it and consider keeping that original patina. Just my thoughts.

I am not interested in trying to fool anyone. it is what it is & I like the little oddball.

I would like to put a vintage engine on it eventually.

You misunderstood me. I did not mean real deception or trying to finagle someone out of their hard earned cash. I just meant in a fun way, hence the smiley.

Also, you can multi-reply by clicking "Reply" on each post/person you want to address, then type your replies in-line and all in one post. Or something like that. ...
