New minibike shop opening in michigan

#1
Motor city minis is opening jan. 15, 2011 at 12950 beech daly rd, taylor, mi 48180. We will be open every weekend 9-9 and weekday evenings 5-9. This will be our winter hours.
The shop will feature new parts, used/vintage parts, nos parts and custom parts. We also offer powder coatings, metal polishing and chroming.
Most importantly, this store was opened for minibikers by minibikers. Not trying to get rich but wanted to offer parts not available or hard to get, as well as common parts. A place to talk minibike and post local events.

How do they figure chroming costs? I have a bunch of stuff that needs it.. Probably best to do a large lot at once? What does say like a chain guard cost to do, versus a Rupp Goat and a dozen other oddball parts??

Working on a web site but it's not up yet. I've been spending all my time, not at work, fixing the building (needed alot of work) and getting product in. Plus i've been meeting with alot of people to make custom or reproduction parts. I'm not sure how much the chroming will be yet as i'm on my third chromer. Too many problems with the last two. Everything looks great with the new guy but we're trying to figure out how we can bring the price down so we can afford it. Chroming done right is expensive but we shouldn't have to sell one of the kids to do it!
