Hi all, just registered and wanted to introduce myself. My Name is Chris and I live near Baltimore MD. I'm 47 and just getting into minibikes and go carts again after playing with them as a kid. Over the winter I picked up one of each and am in the process of fixing them up and getting them going for my two kids.
The Mini bike is a 71 Montgomery wards 525 that I bought as a roller for $50. I thought all it needed was a chain, brake band and clutch........until I started taking it apart. Turns out I've needed to replace most of what was left. But it has become a project bike that I should have done here in a couple more weeks.
The go cart needed far less, I just got a new predator 212 to put on it and it still needs a new band brake and a seat, but that should be good to go in about a month as well.
