nitro power

i have a i HP 2 stroke engine from a min helecopter,it has a glo plug put
were a sparkplug will fit like it shuld, it has a odd carb that i wont to use
as you cant get parts for a o/r carb,,so can i run reg gas in it,with a
sparkplug, the engine as new was maid to run gas/not nitro back in the
day some guys converter the o/r from gas to nitro,thank you wayne.

Wayne I dont see why it would not work. Unless they changed the piston to increase the compression, even then I don't see why it wont work. I have changed a few weed eater engines over to Nitro (rc projects) using a different carb but keeping the spark plug. So I don't see a problem with running Gas/oil mix like it was suppose to... Just don't try and use the Glow plug with Gas/oil mix it will not work.
