OPEN CLASS: Velox's "Mad Wife" Entry

Okay so for those of you that have wondered. I have made the Suzuki k10 forks work. With the help of a Kawasaki ke100 steering neck. Same everything except the stem on the forks is about 1/4 inch shorter. Just removed on of the two washers and she fits tight. Waiting on wheel I ordered to come in the. I can finish tacking the frame.
Invest in a good saw and save time. Frame cut up in under a minute.

So ran into major problem, back of frame bowed during welding. Three it off 3/4 of an inch. Think it's because of the W.T. Of tubing. Ordered thicker metal and starting over. :-(

It's hard to explain, but I was not to sure about the thin wall in the first place. But I agree I have learned a lot. Second time should be better. Will post pics.

Woke up feeling really patriotic today and just wanted to share a quote:

“Sometimes one man with courage is a majority.” ~ Andrew Jackson

Think this country needs this guy.

Yep! Great progress so far, and with the thicker metal there has been no warping yet.
Just have to start working on the mods for the engine. Also have to get the neck tube prepped. Alot of :hammer: :grind: and then
