Pedator 212 build up

In the process of modding up at Predator, just ordered a bunch of parts. Got the motor completely apart, governor out, oil sensor out and flywheel off, head off - all the way down to bare block. Heres the plan:

ARC Billet Rod
ARC Flywheel
BP2 Grind Dyno Cam
18cc Milled Clone Head (going to port/polish myself)
18 lb springs (might have to go 26 lb?)
25mm int, 24mm ex stainless valves
Retainer and Keeper Set w/lash caps
Stock Pushrods
24mm Mikuni Flat Slide carb w/pulse pump
Header Pipe

Deciding on going all out with this motor. Trying to make up my mind on a few things such as a flat top piston, the mentioned 26lb springs and whether or not I have to upgrade the pushrods. What do you guys think on this?

bigger valves might be a good idea !! or a smaller carb

Problem is with this 18cc head it uses 25mm int and 24mm ex as opposed to the stock predator sizes of 27mm int and 25mm exhaust. I realize it would be possible to oversize the valves with the 18cc head but I'm having a heck of a time finding a 25mm stainless exhaust valve for any Honda clone. Might have to downgrade to a 22mm Mikuni instead. But I looooove them flat slides, they make all the difference.

you should be able to change to a 27/25 is it a hemi predator you are changing the head on ?

Should have no problem with the 27/25 valves with the seats on this head. At that point maybe I'd still be able to mod up a 24 mm Mikuni to it with the right jetting?

Motor is not a hemi by the way.
