PLEASE post your Torque-A-Verter brake pics

[1967 Tempest]

I have tried so many different brake combo its nots funny. The latest try is a 4.5" internal drum brake, but the drum was not drilled for INST so I redrilled it. It is a hair out of alignment and it broke off the stud I had in place holding it. I am going to try one more time to get this right.

Is live axle and a 6" internal brake the only way to go?This is on a Trailblazer frame. Adding fram supports for live axle is not tough, just a PITA.

Hydraulic disc on the sprocket, or a disc mounted to the opposite side.

i like and dislike the brake on the sprocket...

like because its using something already there, making it simpler and more compact

but dont like because i would think chain oil and grease would make the brake pretty useless, but ive never had one so i dont really know

if you are having trouble braking, hydro disc is the way to go. chinese bikes and quads make great brake donors.

i havent had too much trouble with expanding brakes not working, but band brakes... oh yeah...

Trying the inside drum brake on the 35 chain sprocket. Throwing chains and not stopping. Bike has ceased to be fun!

Pretty much the setup im using. I need to get the chain fixed. How much preload do you have on the drum?
