Is it ALL aluminum except for the steel cooling fins on the flywheel, kinda in a half round pinwheel looking formation?

It's probably an old push mower engine. OLD fcker like 1956 or whatever..

Good, once I see the pics it will help. I have 2, 1945 2.5hp Power Products lawn mower engines. I may be able to help. Does it have a Tillotson carb? both of mine did.

HOLY CRAP Wayne..
Thats about the nicest Power Products I've ever seen. That thing looks like it actually GOES to a bike or something.

By the way it's got no air filter and a belt pulley, I'd say 1940 snowblower... Bu I never heard of a Power Products power shovel..

That is a really clean one. Newer than the ones I have. If you want schematics I can either scan it and email it to you or you could pm me your address and I can send you some copies, don't hesitate to ask. They aren't exactly for the one you have, but are similar.

Wayne, what kind of carb it on it? is it a Tillotson?

Oh, and TRK, I think Wayne's is newer than a 1940, the pics below are of both of mine from 1945 Teco lawnmowers.

These are both of my power products, farm fresh.
