Predator 212 on baja

Okay guys, so I removed the governor on my predator 212 and put a new aftermarket carb and air intake and it won’t start tried cranking it 15 times. Any suggestions?

So I got it started but it won’t idle.when I turn the choke off it idles but dies shortly after.

Did you change the flywheel or the connecting rod?

No I just removed the governor and swapped out the carb for an aftermarket one. It just isn’t idling once I turn the choke off

How was it running with governor, stock carb and airbox???

Good???
Bad???
Smoking???
Spit and sputter??

Bad carburetor or wrong jets? Too much air or not enough fuel. Check mating surfaces between the carb and engine for any air leaks.
