Predator problems

I got one of the first predators (one without the tube on top of the gas tank)
I put a header and air filter kit on it but it will only run on choke and just dies out when I put it on run I know I might need to jet the carb but how much should I jet it

OldMiniBikes warehouse sells a nice little kit with a new emulsion tube and 2 jets. Look in the Honda 160 section. I've done 2 of these and my engines run really well!

I suggest a .035 to .036 jet and .020 to start on the pilot.

I would not fool around with drilling/enlarging the PILOT JET (yet). I've read of a lot more problems than benefits from members on this forum after doing so. We have never once had to modify the pilot jets on any of our clones and they always ran great.

Have you ever checked your spark plug. If you put the sane parts in your motor as I did then your spark plug must be pure white. You need to jet it up until the spark plug is like a brownish gold
