I used a HF blast cabinet with glass media for the wheels. It's at a friends shop in Ventura. The soda blaster that I used on the engine is mine and your welcome to borrow it if you need it. The glass media is pretty inexpensive. I want to get over to your place to check out your bikes soon, I'm only 15 minutes from

Yeah, the frame had 3 pretty bad rust areas. Pretty common on this model, right past the foot pegs, and at the the Y at the bottom of the down tube. All of those sections were replaced and it also got new peg mounts, anew kickstand mount, and a scalloped down tube, mostly for looks, but the added strength is a plus.

I'm still looking to buy a rear fender, clutch cover, brake levers, throttle, tail light, and air filter assembly.

I'm considering powder coating all the old chrome parts with a silver/grey. I like the look of powder coat, plus it's durable. I never was one for chrome anyways

Wheels are back from powder coat, and I found a NOS recoil on the bay.

I put my Skeeter up for sale again locally, trying to raise money for another project, but no takers. I guess I'll just keep going with it.
