Can you give me some good advice on a Yamaha Exciter?

1979 Yamaha 440 Exciter Snowmobile - $950 (Northglenn)

Durability?
Parts availability?
Power?
Reliability?

And maybe the Enticer?

Great sled, try to get the price down a little. I sold one in similar condition a few years ago for $1000.

There is not anything bad you can say about the exciter or enticers.

Great sleds. I bought one in 83 that had 300 kilometers and sold it in 99 with 19000 kilometers keep clutches clean and lubed and it will run forever

That is a nice clean sled and low miles , It should serve you well . I like the older sleds . My sled was new in 1979 also it is a Kawasaki 440 Drifter with 1229 miles on it now I dont ride it as much as I should :laugh:

Sounds like a good sled, only thing that I know is that steer away from the enticer 250's because the carb kits you get for them aren't the same as the oem and cause problems.
