Handle bars are far from stock :doah: and I cant help with the J/S neither of my Speedways had theirs :doah:
not stock bars but period correct?? jack shaft looks good and all there just dirty and a little rusty hopefully i can take apart with out breaking it and make it all shiny and clean:thumbsup:

I have taken a couple of speedway jackshafts apart but the only help I can give you is there are driven pins that hold the whole thing together from what I remember. One pin on the outer collar of the fixed half of the pulley and another in the slot of the sliding half. This design seemed to have alot of metal on metal contact (if run dry for 40 years) so mine were all worn out and one was not even repairable so I was forced to replace with a comet driven.
