How many of you have ever wondered what the inside of a Tecumseh 2 quart metal fuel tank looked like?
Well I did so I took one apart the other day check it out.

I'm seriously considering having some of these tanks manufactured and am curious as to how many of you would be interested in purchasing one and how much you would be will to pay for them.
I have NO idea how much they will each cost to have manufactured let alone if it can even be done. So let me know your thoughts on this subject.

But since you're at it.........let me know if you find someone to make them. You'ld think the same people could make round ones too:thumbsup:

I'd probably pay about $50 for one. A little more for round.

Round Tank

Hammerformed ends and a piece of 3" muffler tube. O/A welded the ends for easier metal finishing. A neck from a rusted out Briggs Tank, Took a lot of brass to get the neck to fit! No Filler used other than primer and block sanding. Silver soldered the petcock plate. Pressure checked at 20 PSI.

Aluminum would be a lot lighter!
