Yard sale find. Not original motor (HF 6.5 hp), all I need is a belt and ready to ride. Can one of the experts identify this, thanks.

What is the crystal knob on the top of the cross bar?

I still don't have any clue what it is, but that's been driving me nuts

The crystal knob was part of a non original manual clutch setup. I removed all that stuff and added a cent. clutch and belt. This thing is geared down so much it's hard to keep the front tire down. It would climb a wall and is for sure a trail model of some kind. I have never had so much fun with something and don't have a clue what it is. Very nice welds on the frame, this thing was built to last.
