What kind Of Briggs do I have

Iv looked all over the place in the forum but I just cant figure out what exactly I have. I know its a Briggs and I think its 4hp but I cant be sure. Id like to know exactly what I have. It has a C8 on the head but no numbers that I can see anywhere else.

It's an older briggs, the 4 post coil was used in the early 60s they switched to the two post coil around 1967 or so. There should be numbers stamped into the cover behind the air cleaner. If you measure the bore and stroke then we will be able to tell you what engine you have. It is at least a 2 hp up to a 3hp.
