I was pulling out of my drive way and I guess I didn't check enough. I didn't see anyone and bam I hit the side of a car coming down the road. Thank god no one was hurt and both of us walked away without a scratch. But I feel like a complete butthole. Every time else I have wrecked it was me alOne driving like an idiot and no one else's day got screwed.

My truck lost fenders bumper hood grill headlights and my one fender flair. I backed it in my carport and stripped the front end down and I am going to drive it to Cambridge and drop it off at the dodge dealership

That'll really take a :001_9898: on your day right there. Sorry to hear it.
No crap. Ive went 9 years without a single problem. Even when i was driving 30k miles a year with a
Long commute Waiting now for the dealer to finish the estimate for insurance. I am going to have to stop at walmart and get a set of fogs for headlights since they said 3 weeks to get it in.

I didn't realize my insurance was so fast.

Sorry to hear that, anytime its a wreck it sucks because then you stuck paying money out AND needing another vehicle to drive. Hang in there man.

I was getting ready to move my truck out of the driveway by drifting and popping the clutch. I thought for a second and changed my mind. I reached for the key switch and looked up to see a Plymouth Grand Fury Wagon flying across the hood. Had I not stopped and key started the truck, I would have gotten that car right in the drivers window. The driver had a seizure, hit the curb in front of my house, landed in the neighbors yard, went through two more yeards demolishing a just out of the shop VW and took the rail off the last house. By the time I got to the car, the driver was having a cup of coffee in the house that she just missed by inches. Dumb Luck.
Glad you are ok. Trucks can be repaired. Not always so with people.

The guy at the repair shop couldn't believe how little damage.my truck took besides.body panels. No frame work was damaged. I told him if you cant dodge it ram it.... it still drives so am dropping it.off Sunday and pickin up Thursday afternoon. Another guy from work has the same shift as me so I can catch a ride to work.

My good friend was picking up scrapped out water heaters from Rotor Rooter had 6 tanks and a big double wide refrigerator on his trailer. And a driver from Canada driving a 175,000.00 motor home pulling a trailer with a Mercedes Benz SUV pulled out of Camp World and made a left hand turn in front of him.
His pickup hit the center of the motor home right where the propane tanks were. The man said didn't you see me ? My friend refused to go to the hospital and got out and reloaded all the water heaters that were all strapped together. A real dumb move and he is still having back problems.
The case is still not finished.
No fun to be in a wreck but people just drive so fast today it's bound to happen. Sorry that your day was so lopsided.

Manchester1 : I had a big dog that chased me on my paper route when I was a boy and the owners kids would laugh and tell the dog to get me. I filled a Ketchup squeeze bottle with Parsons Ammonia and when the dog was right up to the side of my bike I dumped a load into his snarling face. He screamed and howled and from that day onward when he saw me coming he would run back to his yard and hide under the front porch.
Them bites can hurt a lot of deep tissue.
Sorry for your troubled day. Steve :scooter:
