been a while since I posted an update on this bike I built
photos from last month
Video from last week
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=OkwVnjwUc4U
What I did today was install a steering stabilizer
actually looking at the part I listed it may not be correct
I had a ton of problems making that list to post here
as that site does not allow you to paste links easily I was using a part number search to bring up the parts, then pasted the links
so at first most of my links I posted went back...
I was told the bolt pattern used is the same on all of these engines
but I have not verified this yet
if it is the same, I dont see why it wouldnt work
I do have some ancient king o lawns mower here but never got around to see if it uses the same bolt pattern as it looks like the same type...
here is the list of parts needed to complete the brake
of course some may not be needed depending on if you have the brake lever and cable already
Brake Cable Drum Pin
Band Brake Pin - AZ2254
Band Brake
4-3/16" Brake band with bracket - Manco Part #1036
May not be needed
longer spring...
could you could buy a tiny tap and tiny allen screws add 4 to the base
and use the allen screws to grip the carb
on scooters they use a velocity stack that looks just like that with the screws at the base
and just pinch on the carb lip
Im using both azusa rear tire drum, and just installed a clutch brake
the drum on my 212cc barely stops it and in an emergency it wont help
but the clutch brake is super strong, too strong
but at least it will stop the bike, use both and its normal stopping power
I just made the clutch brake...
well looks like I cant edit the first post
so I will post here
I got a handful made and ready to ship $35 free shipping USA
They come with the hardware to mount too
Brake, and brake parts not included
Someone said that bolt pattern is the same for other engines, if thats the case...
