I am looking at motor mounts and see on BMI that there are several different angles from 0 to 15 degrees. What is the purpose of the different angles? What does angling the motor accomplish? There has to be a technical reason for this. I would like to understand the theory behind it.
Thanks...
Ok so I was doing some inventory and I've got a running engine lined up for every bike currently in stock. What I just realized is I will be needing quite a few angled intakes fo HS40 and HS50 engines. Can't believe I overlooked this but almost all the bikes I have left to get going have...
Workin on the basher. Lookin for a angled intake to level the carb back out. Does not like runnin at this anlged setup. Anyone? Parts or leads. Thanx ....
Looking for angled carburetor/intake manifold for two Briggs & Stratten engines. One is a very healthy 2HP flathead with the carburetor that has a built in gas tank and the other is a 6HP OHV with the bowl-style carburetor. Both engines are being used on frames that have tilted engine mounts.
So my HS40 grenade'd over the weekend. :crying:
I'm thinking of replacing it with a clone. I have a Bird Nighthawk and was wondering how a clone would run with the angled engine mounting. Will I need to get an angled intake to level out the carb?
I see that Hppowedercoatings has a...
I found an angled intake for a Tecumseh H40. Will this fit a H50, or do I need to find a H40? I bought it for a Fox Doodlebug that I'm restoring.
I have this old mini that has a engine mount cocked about 25-30 degrees or so to accomidate a jackshaft under it. will this cause oiling or other issues is I bolt a clone engine on it?
I got this bike mostly complete but not running. I refinished or replaced parts with NOS or Repop. It has a NOS 5HP Tecumseh engine with alternator & slanted intake.
