choked

i have a 5.5 Coleman engine (Honda Clone) off of a presser washer and i put it on my go kart and it wont run unless almost completely on choke and the carb leaks out gas when not running it like over flows or something

the engine keeps dieing when i open the choke. only way to keep it from dieing is to give it gas when i open the choke. would boiling the carb for like 5 min in water clean it and make it like new again? i would be using air compresser to blow it out? need some help tired of it dieing.

I have played with clones for a while now but , have never used a muki,tillson or any of those needle type carb. i have alway drilled jets or went with gx390 carb.jetting original carb has hesitation to it and gx390 carb must be run with some choke even after minutes of playing with mix screw...

I don't care for the new Briggs and Stratton chokes and all that garbage on top of the tank and carb. Soooooo, today I went MID EVIL ON IT'S ASS. :death: I copped it in two and then thought of a way to remember if the choke was on by sculpting an arrow out of it with the angle...
