Forgive me if I missed a thread on hubs, I been looking and doing searches, but nothing so far. Some questions I have include, are the one piece wheel/hub for the front durable enough for a heavy "Tote Gote" type bike? I will be putting wide tires and wheels but can not seem to find wide enough...

First post on this forum and I'm looking for stuff...imagine that. I recently got a 71 Rupp Hustler and found that the brake side wheel hubs were shot. One is cracked beyond use, the other one is a loose fit for the bearings. I'm not looking to do a restoration on this bike, just want to make it go.

I have a set of Alton 6" aluminum wheels with hubs and new bearings. I have no idea what these are from. One wheel has some abuse, but behind a sprocket you'd never notice. These have been blasted and come with new bearings. $75.00 shipped and they are yours!
