I'm looking for a 71 Rupp 12" tire swingarm and triple tree. They must be in original Rupp red paint. I have other triple trees and swingarms, but need this color to finish putting a bike together. Thanks!
Some Minibikes have a nylon bushing sleeve inside the bigger diameter tube for the smaller diameter tube to slide in. A lot do have any bushings. It is just one steel tube sliding in another steel tube. Those are sloppy fits. It is most likely a 7/8" tube inside a 1" tube.
Who sells the nylon...
I'm upgrading my Speedway Green Horn front suspension to a real hydraulic suspension and wanted to know if there's an aftermarket pit bike setup that I could retrofit.
The main issue is that the fork is secured to the steering neck with a 1/2" bolt going thru nylon bearings and all of the pit...

We started cutting trees yesterday. Here's a link to Mr Goat dragging one of the smaller ones. That's my son riding it. We will get to the larger ones after we haul that trailer load of brush to the shredder. That tree was heavier than the railroad ties...
Need some ideas for straightening some forks bent between the triple trees.
They are welded to the fork mounting bolt and nut with part of the upper tree missing!
I don't want to try grinding down the welds and losing more material?

Hey Fellas, I had these triple tree plates laser cut a while back for some forks I was planning to make but never got around to. They are a perfect match for Taco forks but you can use them for any customs forks as well. Made from 5/32" steel just like the originals. $25/pair plus $6 for...
my high school friend from back in the 70's asked if I could make something like grandmother willow in Pocahontas to hang on her willow tree this is what I came up with this weekend
Went out riding just a few minutes ago. Made it about 500 yards down the trail and noticed a recent storm had downed a tree. I got this....no no I didn't.
Got up on the tree slid up wheels spinning then slide back and I let go and bailed. Tires hit the dirt and the bike stood up then fell...
We usually have a bigger tree, but this one is handy for those times when you just don't get around to setting one up for one reason or another. When Christmas is over, it will just go back on the top shelf of the closet, lights and all. Let's see a photo of your tree. Merry...

Hey Fellas, The front suspension in my recently acquired Powell wasn't working correctly. The culprit was a dent that was limiting the movement of the internal parts. One side was fine, the other frozen. It was a little harry. It's always scary chopping into rare vintage parts. Thanks to...
Hey Fellas, I'm making a new tree for a Mickey. The sample I'm working with has some BIG welds on it. Here are some pictures of the "before". I just finished programming the sheet metal portion from home and will stamp it out when I get in the shop tomorrow. More pics soon...
This looks terminal to me.
Over in the clone section, we were discussing fixing the high idle issue. I fixed the idle but the end result was that it reduced the throttle response some and killed the top end. The fix is simple with a heavier spring on the throttle to governor spring...
