Hello, I’m building a predator 212 non hemi and need advice on achieving a 10.5 to 1 compression ratio, how much should I shave the head? I haven’t measured how deep the piston is in the hole yet because I already took the whole engine apart and I’m waiting on my ring compressor and other parts...
Mikuni vm22 carb with 3 main jets 120,105 and 95 and 3 pilots 15, 17.5 and I can't make out the other. $60 shipped
I'll take some pics when I get home.
Is there anyway to adjust the choke rpm speed?
Mine starts with one pull, dead cold with choke on, however rpms are 3500.
Is that what they are supposed to be?
I have this taper bore vm22 and I'm making an intake for it. My question is, should my intake flange cover this hole or leave it open to atmosphere, or does it matter? It's hard to see in the hole but it looks like it's plugged right before it gets to the idle mixture screw which is right...
Just installed mikuni and billet intake to my honda clone and it idles so high that the clutch engages. I think its not air leak because i sprayed some gasoline over the manifold and nothing, the idle screw it allway back.
I need the part with the arrows pointing to it..it screws into the bowl and holds the main jet... I took mine out to buff the bowl and like magic, it disappeared....
I just got a new Mikuni VM22 for my Briggs Flattie. It is the real VM, not the copies on Ebay. I am running an 03-SS cam and was wondering if any of you are running a Mikuni VM22, and what size jets you are using and needle clip position. I am just trying to find a starting point to tune this...
just wondering if anyone has some main jets and pilot jets kicking around that they would want to get rid of. i will be running gas so i need main jets somewhere around 115 and 120. i will also consider small ones because i can drill them out.
bit of a random question, but i used to have a vm22 carb on gx200 engine.
i could'nt get the engine to run without the choke on, is this common on these carb or have i got an air leek somewhere?
Any help would be appreciated
