1971 rupp bandit resto project

Hello everyone! I'm new to the site and wanted to share my project with y'all. I picked this up at my local body shop where my wife's car was getting repaired, 1971 rupp bandit $100 complete I've already disassembled and started to get it ready for paint.

I got the blue metallic laid today witch is a pretty close match to the original, going to clear coat it tomorrow. The original fenders cleaned up nice listing in the shop is poor but it really pops out in the sun.

It's moving along nicely. Got her back to a roller today and put a coat of paint on the engine

I like the black on black look, and with the engine being tilted forward and the silver head bolts...NICE ! :thumbsup:

Thanks!! I got the tank painted and cleared tonight:thumbsup: I'm really liking the way it's coming out for my first build. Color is a little darker than original

Almost done only chain guard, clutch and chain. And she purrs like a kitten.
